About the Author
Dr. Roger L. Sadler is a full professor in the Department of Communication-Broadcasting at Western Illinois University in Macomb. He has been at W.I.U. since 1990. Before that, he was an associate instructor at Indiana University and an instructor at the University of Central Oklahoma. He has a B.A. in Communications/English from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Missouri, and Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Indiana University. Dr. Sadler has worked in the broadcasting field since 1979 when he got his first on-air job at his hometown radio station in Gouverneur, New York. Since then, he has worked as a D.J., producer, news reporter, news anchor, and faculty adviser at more than a dozen radio and T.V. stations in New York, Missouri, Oklahoma, Indiana, and Illinois. Presently, he is a weekend DJ on W.J.E.Q.-F.M. in Macomb, Illinois and works during the summer months as a news reporter for W.Q.A.D.-T.V. in Moline, Illinois.

Videographer/Reporter? You must have this textbook!!

This is one of the few textbooks for college that I bought, and is the ONLY book I read front to back in my four years and actually LIKED.
This has everything you need to know about your rights as a videographer/reporter and is a great read for someone who is a freelancer as well.
Very great read that will save you from situations where you are unsure!
