Growing interest in childhood studies

This is an early example of what I suspect will be many academic texts in childhood studies as the discipline continues to grow around the world. The discipline draws on many developing fields; child rights, children and the law, child public health, the social sciences as they relate to childhood, children and public policy and so on. It also has a solid base of practitioners in these fields and the growing practice of child advocacy.
The book is a must for anyone teaching childhood studies at undergraduate or postgraduate level.
